Dr. Sudhir Rao obtained his Medical Doctorate from St. George's University School of Medicine, and is the founder of Pain and Spine Specialists. Despite Dr. Rao's years of training focusing on traditional medicine, he developed a strong interest in Functional and Integrative Medicine to treat chronic illness with alternative methods
Dr. Rao firmly believes that in order to provide optimal wellness, physicians need to be empowered with a more whole body approach to work with traditional medicine.
About Doctor Sudhir Rao
Dr. Sudhir Rao MD, ABAAHP, was motivated to enter the field of medicine after an encounter he observed in a small town in India. His grandfather, a well-known General Practitioner in the town was deeply appreciated by his patients for the deep compassion in which he cared for them. Sudhir observed that despite having limited resources, his grandfather was able to transform his patient's lives through the attentive medical care he delivered. It was a life changing moment. Dr. Rao was born and raised in New Jersey.

First to bring spinal cord stimulation to Fort Hood as well as treat chronic neuropathic pain using technology. It was an unparalleled honor and privilege to serve and assist the Army pain physicians in treating wounded soldiers.
